The Diabolus Waits is a new wind consort, set up by founder members of Diabolus in Musica. Combining the fun and jollity for which Diabolus in Musica are famous with excursions into ‘serious’ consort music, The Diabolus Waits present a hugely varied programme, encompassing Tudor folk tunes, instrumental fantasies, madrigals, and even church music, played on an impressive panoply of instruments, at the core of which is the grand and glorious consort of shawms and curtal.
