General description

We have a small regular audience for the more accessible programme of any style or era. The Maltings is in a small market town in the middle of a sparsely populated rural area, with half of the catchment area being on the North sea coast and right on the Border with Scotland. We are funded by Berwick Borough Council and Arts Council England North East.

Performance space details

Compact, sloping main auditorium with good acoustic and sight lines. Full disabled access for audience but problematic for performers. Level multi-purpose hall on ground floor has level access and basic facilities. Full details on our website.
